CRL Vertical Weatherstile Kits include two lengths of weatherstile with wool pile weatherstrip, one black EPDM filler strip (for double door applications), four lengths of bonding strips with Very Hi‑Bond tape, four 1-1/2" (38 mm) tall weatherstripped removable access plates with alignment clips, and installation instructions.


These CRL Vertical Weatherstile Kits (SKU W12BSSC) are redesigned for newly fabricated single or double doors using 1/2" (12 mm) or 3/4" (19 mm) tempered glass. Ideal as a vertical weatherstile kit for 1/2 inch glass doors and commercial all-glass storefronts, they deliver narrow-profile protection that reduces drafts while preserving the minimal, all-glass look.

Available in five cladded architectural finishes to match adjacent metal door frames, these kits work exclusively with CRL DRS Wedge-Lock® door rails for reliable compatibility in both single and double door applications.

Installation is simple and precise: internal bonding strips attach to the glass with Very Hi‑Bond tape for a secure, repeatable fit—eliminating the wait time required by traditional glue-on weatherstiles.

NOTE: CRL Vertical Weatherstiles are intended only for use on newly fabricated doors being installed into a new or existing opening. They cannot be retrofitted to existing doors with pre-installed door rails.
