The CRL E.Z.D. Glazer De-Glazing Tool (SKU: EZ1010) is a time-saving glass de-glazing tool for window and door professionals. Designed specifically for removing glazing materials that remain flexible—such as silicone, foam and butyl tapes—the EZ1010 works by laying the cutting blade flat on the glass and sliding it into the glazing pocket to separate glazing material as you roll the tool along the length of the pocket. For tight fits, add soapy water or a light lubricant (Cat. No. SLK1QT) to aid cutting. The integrated plastic hand guard lets you work right next to the glass for better leverage and a deeper, safer cut. Not recommended for hardened glazing putty.
