CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® (SKU: SS3866) is a silicone-foam insulating glass spacer designed to minimize perimeter edge condensation and reduce overall window heat loss. Its flexible foam construction accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement, making it ideal for curved and odd-shaped insulating glass units, sound-insulating assemblies, triple-glazed units, and art-glass inserts. The product’s permeability enables fast moisture pick-up, while a high-performance multi-layer barrier film reduces moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss.

For long-term durability, UV-resistant silicone prevents spacer degradation. Super Spacer® eliminates the need for desiccant beads and corner keys during fabrication, speeding production of IG units and specialty insulating glass spacer assemblies. Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long; other colors and bulk rolls are available by special order.

Installation note: Super Spacer® must be used with an edge sealant. We recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer® Sealant.
