CRL All Purpose Putty (SKU: 5335GLW) is a durable window glazing putty and glazing compound formulated to adhere firmly to sash and glass and outlast ordinary putties. It works on wood, steel, and aluminum sash and is packaged in factory-sealed plastic containers to preserve freshness and shelf life—ideal for over-the-counter retail display.

Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and frost-free. Remove all old putty and bedding when re-glazing. If needed, warm putty by rolling into coils in your hands to soften. Smooth glazing to an angle that sheets water. Typical dry time before painting is four to six weeks depending on temperature and humidity. Putty must be painted after it has skinned over and set; for best results use a high-quality oil-based paint.

Mixing & usage: Mix the ENTIRE contents of the container on glass or plastic until uniform—do not mix small amounts or on cardboard (cardboard absorbs oils). Do not thin the putty or add solvents, oils, or pigments; putty cannot be tinted.

Packaging & shelf life: Available in five retail sizes, gray and off-white. Best-by shelf life is 6–8 months when properly stored in a sealed container.
