In the locked position the plunger extends past the edge of the inner door to prevent bypassing, creating a reliable glass cabinet lock. The push-button plunger is simple to operate, allowing you to lock or unlock in seconds. When unlocked the lock functions as a convenient knob, eliminating the need for a separate pull handle — a space-saving feature ideal for display cabinets, retail glass cases, and curio cabinets.
