The CRL Precision Cut Opener makes difficult cuts in glass up to 1/2" (12.7 mm) thick an easy task. Now 90 degree corners and three-sided notches can be opened effortlessly. The pressure applied with this tool is efficient because the force to run your cuts comes from the gradual turning of the fine threaded adjustment screw on the bottom of the device. This means no sudden movements or impacts to accidentally break your glass. A run can be controlled to ensure a precise break every time. The pressure ring in the center of the TP046 can be rotated 360 degrees for access to the most extreme position of any cut. Throat depth is 5" (127 mm).
