CRL UV602 (SKU: UV602L1K) is a medium-viscosity, 100% solids UV/visible light curable adhesive formulated for bonding glass, laminated safety glass (PVB), metal, ceramic and many plastics. Designed for capillary action, it wicks into joints and bonds glass up to 1/4" (6 mm) thick; for thicker glass apply adhesive to the bonding surface before assembly.
This adhesive is ideal for laminated safety glass applications because the PVB interlayer absorbs UVA; CRL UV602 cures using visible light above 380 nm, enabling complete cure through PVB for butt-edge and edge bonds without affecting the film. Cured bonds are optically clear, highly flexible with outstanding elongation, and provide tough, durable joints with excellent vibration resistance, moisture resistance and low yellowing. Store away from sunlight.
For best results, prepare glass with Cleaner and Degreaser to remove dirt and grease.
NOTE: Always test adhesion on plastics first — not all plastics bond reliably. Do not use on coated parts (powder coated or galvanized).
