The LCN 4040 Series Surface Door Closer is designed for institutional and other rugged high traffic applications. This closer has been tested to ten million cycles and is certified to ANSI Standard A156.4 Grade 1. The closer is an adjustable multi-spring size 1 – 6 that can accommodate interior doors up to 60" (1.52 m) and exterior doors up to 48" (1.22 m). The closer is fully reversible and shipped complete with a parallel arm bracket permitting universal installation for regular, top-jamb, or parallel arm configuration as needed for the job. Optional accessories, such as Drop Plates and Hold Open Arms, are available for special installations.
