Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a high-performance glass door rail system engineered for monolithic tempered glass doors. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage the door rail wedge to produce exceptionally high clamping force — more than 900 lbs. in our 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail — providing robust, long-lasting attachment for glass door assemblies.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers a faster, more reliable installation than conventional door rails. CRL door rails arrive fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) field adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door—ideal for vertically out-of-square openings.

To adjust the door after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and non-standard setback locations.
