Overview
- Music Wire Diamond Drill
- For Use in Hand-Held Rotary Tools (Dremel®, Foredom®) and Small Precision Drill Presses
CRL Plated Diamond Flat-Tip Drills (SKU: TRD116) are diamond-plated on flexible music wire for precision glass and tile drilling in hand-held rotary tools and small drill presses. The Tripple-Ripple™ design delivers improved performance: three flutes help flush cuttings, reduce frontal contact and drag, and maintain cutting action as edges wear—yielding longer life and faster cutting than standard flat-tip drills. Ideal as a diamond drill bit for glass, ceramic tile, and porcelain when used with proper coolant.
Usage & Care: Always submerge the drill in CRL Diamond Tool Coolant solution to prevent overheating and prolong life. Use steady, light pressure and low speeds for best results when drilling brittle materials.
Product Warning:
Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
