This CRL Stainless Steel Standoff Assembly is very popular in architectural applications to secure a lite of glass to a threaded metal bracket or column without the use of a frame. The glass is fabricated with the required holes, and then secured with the Standoff to create a frameless appearance. The Cat. No. SW30 Spanner Wrench is used to secure the Cap Assembly to the Standoff Base.
The 304 Grade Stainless Steel Standoff is designed to be used with panels ranging in thickness from 1/4" to 1/2" (6 to 12.7 mm). The maximum recommended panel size for 1/2" (12 mm) glass is 39" x 79" (990 mm x 2.01 m), with a maximum weight per attachment point of 55 lbs. (25 kg). A 5/8" (16 mm) drilled hole is required for installation.
NOTE: The SS30 Standoff is not compatible with other CRL Standoff Systems.

1 Allen Screw - M8 Metric Thread x 1-3/4" (44 mm) Long
2 Vinyl Washers - 1-3/16" (30 mm) Diameter
1 Vinyl Sleeve - 3/16" (5 mm) Long
