Overview
CRL Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Setting Blocks are versatile and compatible with Silicone, Butyl, Polyurethane, and Polysulfide Sealants, making them ideal for modern structural glazing designs.
These setting blocks, made from 90 durometer shore hardness thermoplastic rubber, perform comparably to traditional neoprene blocks and are available in popular sizes.
Boasting excellent chemical resistance and UV stabilization, they do not mar or stain surfaces.
For optimal results, job-specific testing with silicone sealant manufacturers is recommended, and compatibility testing according to ASTM C1087-87 can be arranged.
