CRL Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Setting Blocks (SKU: TPR564) are engineered for glazing and structural glazing applications where compatibility with modern sealants is required. Formed from 90 durometer TPR, they match the performance of traditional neoprene setting blocks without marring or staining surfaces. These blocks offer excellent chemical resistance and are available in the most popular neoprene block sizes for easy replacement in storefront, curtain wall, and window installations. Job-specific compatibility testing with your chosen silicone sealant is recommended prior to startup.
Product Warning:
To ensure sealant-to-block compatibility, the silicone sealant manufacturer can test job-site accessory materials using ASTM C1087-87. Test results are provided in writing. Allow approximately four weeks from receipt of samples for testing.
