CRL Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Setting Blocks (SKU: TPR559) are 90 durometer thermoplastic rubber blocks designed as a direct alternative to traditional neoprene setting blocks for glass glazing and structural glazing applications. Compatible with modern structural glazing sealants, these TPR setting blocks offer excellent chemical resistance, will not mar or stain surfaces, and are available in the most popular neoprene block sizes. Job-specific compatibility testing with the intended silicone sealant manufacturer is recommended prior to startup.
Product Warning:
To confirm sealant-to-block compatibility, the silicone sealant manufacturer can test accessory materials per ASTM C1087-87. Written results are provided; testing takes approximately four weeks from receipt of samples.
