CRL's Premium Cap Rails (SKU: GR20BS14) are manufactured using a proprietary bump-forming process that delivers tighter tolerances, consistent radius, and superior fit into welded corners compared with roll-formed cap rails. Double-sided channel welds add strength and stability, minimizing stress and spring-back for a straight, true profile ideal for architectural glass railing and commercial balustrade projects.

All Premium Cap Rail sections are formed with precision tooling to maintain uniform diameters for smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The welded internal channel increases rigidity for fabrication. For a secure, permanent bond at all connections use Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement. Connector sleeves connect cap rails; use Cat. No. GR20CSS where specified. Sold in 120" (3.05 m) lengths; 168" (4.27 m) lengths and custom sizes available.

Glass compatibility & installation notes: When used with 1/2" (12 mm) glass, use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL silicone.
