CRL 1/8" Diamond Router Bits — SKU ADRB40 are the fastest cutting router bit we've offered for glass routing. Developed from years of engineering experience, this 1/8" (3.17 mm) diamond router bit delivers significantly higher material removal rates and coolant delivery compared with our previous bits. When used with CRL ADR2 or ADR2T Portable Glass Routers, users can achieve routing speeds up to 7" (178 mm) per minute in 1/4" (6.35 mm) glass—more than twice the speed of the prior design. The improvement comes from two coolant "flats" ground into the shaft that create extra space for coolant and allow more material to be removed at once. Proper use yields over 50 linear feet of routing per bit. ADRB40 also offers substantial cost savings—approximately 50% less than our current router bits—making it an economical choice for professionals needing high-performance diamond glass router bits. We recommend ADRB40 for use in ADR2, ADR2T, PDR, and Wedge-Lock® Router Systems.
