CRL SKU S7950 — the 8" (203 mm) Pump‑Action Vacuum Lifter is designed for safe, fast handling of glass, glazing, and other smooth non‑porous materials. Built with a heavy‑duty stainless steel handle and a durable ABS 3‑stroke plunger, the S7950 provides rapid attachment and a clear red‑line indicator so you know when sufficient vacuum is reached. A built‑in check valve lets you re‑pump without losing existing vacuum, improving jobsite efficiency.
The large rubber pad (over 50 square inches) makes full‑face contact to minimize stress on glass of varying thickness. Release is simple and secure: press the vacuum release lever (guarded for safety) to detach the pad cleanly with no residual sticking. The handle includes four 5/16" holes for attaching guide ropes when used with CRL Manual Lifting Frames or for other rigging needs.

Instructions for Troubleshooting:
Remove the six screws to separate the handle and rubber pad. Inspect each component individually.
1. Check the rubber pad:
- Attach the pad to a known‑good handle and pump to test.
- If fixed, the handle is the issue. If not, the pad is likely the problem.
- Pad issues often stem from dust, hair, or wear at the sealing edge.
2. Check the handle:
- Block the handle air inlet (finger or sealed pipe) and pump; observe the plunger.
- If the plunger does not move outward, the pad is at fault.
- If the plunger moves outward, the handle is the issue — often due to evaporated silicone grease inside the handle.
