The CRL8500 Series Floor Mounted Door Closer (model reference CRL8554) is a heavy-duty floor-mounted door closer engineered for commercial and high-traffic doors. Designed to integrate with CRL's Door Rail System, it offers interchangeable spindle heights, independent closing and latching speed adjustments, and multiple hold-open options to suit most standard installations.
The supplied 1/8" (3 mm) collar-height standard spindle is interchangeable to accommodate different finished floor heights. Accessories available include cover plates, pivots, center-hung and offset arms. For durability and safety, an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent over-extension of the door and potential damage to the closer or entryway.
