The CRL Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU: CRL8762GE) is a concealed overhead door closer designed for A.D.A. door opening force compliance. Offered as a body-only retrofit with mounting clips or as a complete package that includes the door closer body, mounting clips, Type "S" side-load arm or Type "A" end-load arm, and a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or "GE" pivot set. This concealed door closer features independent dual-action valves for precise control of closing and latching speeds, and is available in 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open or no hold-open models. Closer bodies fit standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Additional spring sizes and hardware options are available to match door weight and site conditions.
Adjustable Spring Power
Adjust spring tension from a minimum 8-1/2 lb. opening force up to medium spring sizes to accommodate site conditionsβideal for ADA door closer retrofits and adjustable concealed overhead applications.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves independently control Closing Speed and Latching Speed for reliable, adjustable operation.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed out of the door closer body, improving long-term reliability.
NOTE: Install an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
