There are two advantages to buying our Door Closer Bodies with Mounting Clips (SKU: CRL6960). First, if you're replacing a worn or damaged closer body, you lower costs by avoiding unnecessary hardware. Second, you can build a custom door closer package—select a Door Closer Body and add the exact accessories you need (pivots, arms, etc.). Each unit ships with mounting clips, templates, and installation instructions for quick retrofit or new installations.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control lets you adjust closing speed and latching speed independently for precise performance.

Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed out of the door closer body, improving reliability on high-traffic doors.

NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage to the door closer or entryway from over-extension of the maximum allowable door swing.
