CRL Tremco® DyMonic® FC (SKU: 960851323) is a fast-skinning, high-performance, low-modulus, one-component moisture-curing polyurethane sealant designed for construction and glazing joints. DyMonic® FC cures to a smooth, consistent surface, guns easily with conventional caulking equipment, and skins in approximately one hour at 70°F (21°C), offering less dirt pickup than conventional polyurethane sealants whose typical skin time is 16 hours. When applied to clean, dry, uncontaminated substrates it often requires no primer, providing primerless adhesion on common construction materials.


Basic Uses
DyMonic® FC is formulated for dynamic moving joints in precast concrete panels, curtainwall, and tilt-up panels, as well as expansion and control joints, perimeter caulking of windows and doors, and bedding of mullions, frames, and panels. Its balance of high strength, low modulus, and high recovery provides durable weather resistance and the ability to withstand moisture, shear, and deflection movement. Tenacious adhesion resists deterioration over the product life, making it a reliable polyurethane sealant for building envelope and glazing applications.

Meets U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A; Canadian standard CAN/CGSB-19.13-M87; and ASTM C 920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 50 (DyMonic® FC) Class 25 (DyMonic®), Use NT, M, A and O.

Limitations
Do not apply to damp or contaminated surfaces. Certain high-performance paints and architectural finishes may require primer. Painting over DyMonic® is not recommended—paint may crack or peel with joint movement.
