Overview
CRL Tremco® POLYshim™ II Tape is a highly adhesive, elastic preformed butyl tape designed for high-performance glazing systems.
With 100% solids content and a continuous integral EPDM shim, this black tape prevents sealant squeeze-out and reduces glass breakage by eliminating pressure points.
Ideal for use in compression glazing systems such as curtain walls, unitized curtain walls, and sloped glazing applications, it meets AAMA 800-92 specifications 804.3, 806.3, and 807.3.
This tape offers excellent adhesion, heat resistance, and weathering resistance, making it compatible with various glazing systems.
Note: Not suitable for continuous water immersion or temperatures above 200°F (93°C).
