CRL Foam Glazing Tape (SKU: 98418X1BL) is a closed-cell polyethylene foam sealant tape designed for exterior and interior glazing applications. Its aggressive acrylic adhesive bonds to curved or irregular surfaces with light pressure and allows glass repositioning before final setting. Ideal as a primary or secondary seal in window and storefront glazing systems, it eliminates the need for separate shims or spacers.

The patented cellular foam construction minimizes water absorption and resists long-term weathering, providing a durable, long-lived seal. Installation notes: Maintain a minimum of 30% compression for an effective moisture seal (some product literature references 15%; follow project specifications). In small lites, compression may be achieved by pressing the tape when installing glazing stops; in most lites use a compression wedge gasket. Apply with firm, uniform pressure to a clean, dry surface without stretching—the paper liner will indicate if the tape has been stretched. Cut and butt corners; do not overlap. After liner removal, apply a thin bead of approved sealant at intersections.
