Overview
CRL Tremco® POLYshim™ II Tape is a premium, 100% solids, cross-linked butyl rubber tape designed for high-performance compression glazing systems.
This highly adhesive and elastic tape is ideal for curtain walls, unitized curtain walls, punched and ribbon window systems, and sloped glazing applications.
With its continuous integral EPDM shim, it prevents sealant squeeze-out and glass breakage, eliminating the need for preshimming.
POLYshim™ II Tape meets AAMA 800-92 standards and offers excellent adhesion, heat resistance, and weathering capabilities.
Note: Not suitable for continuous water immersion or temperatures exceeding 200°F.
For best results, use with a minimum 1/8" shim.
