CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® (SKU: SS316916BL) is a superior insulating silicone foam spacer designed to minimize perimeter edge condensation and reduce overall window heat loss. Its flexible foam construction accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement, making it ideal for curved and odd-shaped insulating glass units (IGUs), sound-insulating assemblies, and triple-glazed units with art glass inserts.
Made from UV-resistant silicone for long-term durability, the Super Spacer® features a high-performance multi-layer barrier film to reduce moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss. The permeable foam allows fast moisture pick-up, improving edge seal performance and longevity.
Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long. Other colors and bulk rolls are available by special order.
NOTE: Super Spacer® cannot be used without an edge sealant. We recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant.
