Overview
CRL Tremco® POLYshim™ II Tape is a high-performance, cross-linked preformed butyl tape, perfect for compression glazing systems in curtain walls, punched and ribbon window systems, and sloped glazing applications.
This adhesive and elastic tape features a continuous integral EPDM shim, providing 100% solids content and meeting AAMA 800-92, 804.3, 806.3, and 807.3 standards.
The black-colored tape prevents sealant squeeze-out and glass breakage, negating the need for preshimming, and boasts excellent adhesion, heat resistance, and weathering resilience.
Ideal for applications with a temperature range from 20°F to 120°F, POLYshim™ II Tape remains unaffected by ultraviolet exposure through glass and retains flexibility at low temperatures.
Note: Not suitable for joints under continuous water immersion or temperatures above 200°F.
