Overview
The CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is a premier insulating silicone foam spacer, designed for the simultaneous production of regular and uniquely shaped insulating glass units.
Available in both gray and black, this advanced spacer eliminates perimeter edge condensation and significantly reduces window heat loss.
It's perfect for specialized glass designs, including curved, sound insulating, and triple-glazed units with art glass inserts.
The UV-resistant silicone material ensures long-term durability, with a flexible foam that accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement.
For optimal performance, the Super Spacer® features a multi-layer barrier film to minimize moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss.
Note that it requires an edge sealant like CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant for use.
Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long, with other colors and bulk rolls available upon special order.
Always wear proper protective gear when handling glass.
