CRL's Premium Cap Rails (SKU: GR25BS) are manufactured using a proprietary Bump-Forming process that delivers tighter tolerances, consistent radii, and superior fit compared with roll-formed cap rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel increase strength and stability, reducing stress, spring-back, twist, and discoloration—ideal for high-quality glass railing and architectural handrail applications.

All CRL Premium Cap Rails are formed with precision tooling to maintain uniform diameters and enable smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The welded internal channel improves fabrication stability for reliable, repeatable results. Use Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement to achieve a secure, permanent bond at all connections, and use connector sleeves to join cap rails.

Glass compatibility and installation notes:

• With 1/2" (12 mm) glass: use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL Silicone.
• With 5/8" (16 mm) glass: secure with 95CBL Silicone and shims.
• With 3/4" (19 mm) glass: use 95CBL Silicone and shims.
