CRL Premium Cap Rails (SKU: GR25PS) are manufactured using a precision Bump-Forming process that delivers tighter tolerances, consistent radius, and reduced stress compared with roll-formed cap rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel increase strength and stability, enabling cap rails to fit into welded corners without twist or discoloration — ideal for architectural glass railings and interior/exterior handrail trim.

All Premium Cap Rails are formed with precision tooling for uniform diameters and smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The welded internal channel improves fabrication strength and stability. Use Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement to achieve a secure, permanent bond at all connections, and Connector Sleeves to join cap rails. Sold in 120" (3.05 m) lengths; 168" available.

Glass installation notes:

• With 1/2" (12 mm) glass: use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL Silicone.
• With 5/8" (16 mm) glass: secure with 95CBL Silicone and shims.
• With 3/4" (19 mm) glass: use 95CBL Silicone and shims.
