CRL Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels (SKU: BRF100) are flat sheets of reinforced polyester laminate with a fiberglass scrim that delivers superior durability and multi-impact ballistic absorption. The densely packed construction minimizes ricochet and shattering and meets U.L. 752 Ballistic Performance Requirements and National Institute of Justice test criteria for bullet resistant panels.
Typical applications include lining bank teller counters, ticket booths, judge's benches, secure doors and walls, and other concealed-panel installations where ballistic protection and personnel safety are critical. Panels are high-pressure molded into standard 96" x 48" (2.44 x 1.22 m) sheets and can be cut and drilled with commonly available tools (see Specifications).
SPECIFICATIONS:
Material: Reinforced structural polyester laminate with fiberglass scrim
Finish: Panels may be covered with vinyl or clad with plastic laminate for aesthetic integration
Cutting: Use a circular saw, table saw, panel saw, or saber saw. Carbide "grit edge" blades (e.g., CRL Cat. Nos. GC703 or GJ1010) are recommended for ease of cutting
Drilling: Use high-speed steel drill bits at low speed
