CRL White Wood Shims are precision-cut from northern white woods and bundled for easy on-the-job use. CRL Cedar Shims are kiln-dried Western red or white cedar—not inland cedar—so they snap cleaner, resist rot, and perform better in outdoor and treated-wood settings (ideal between a concrete pad and a treated plate). Cedar shims are also termite-resistant and specified for termite-prone climates.
