CRL Smoke Baffle Aluminum Base Shoe is an extruded aluminum base shoe engineered for 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass smoke curtains and baffles. Ideal for office, retail, and open-plan spaces that must be sectioned for smoke detection, this base shoe mounts to the ceiling so glass panels hang straight down, forming an almost invisible smoke curtain. Glass is secured with screws through nylon grommets into 3/4" (19 mm) holes drilled on 12" (305 mm) centers. A glass fabrication template is included. Cladding is available in five architectural finishes for design flexibility.
