CRL Smoke Baffle Aluminum Base Shoe — SKU: B5BSBC is an extruded aluminum base shoe designed to suspend a near-invisible 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass smoke curtain from the ceiling. Ideal for sectioning large open-plan offices or retail spaces to meet fire-code requirements, smoke baffles retain smoke within a specified area and can help prevent unnecessary sprinkler activation. The base shoe fastens to the ceiling structure and supports glass panels that hang straight down; glass is secured using screws through nylon grommets. A glass fabrication template is included. Available in multiple architectural cladding finishes for seamless integration with interior designs.
