Office Lock Function: Latchbolt operated by lever on either side (outside lever can be locked by rocker in faceplate); key operable outside. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks the main latchbolt to prevent jimmying. Inside lever always retracts the mechanism for egress.

Entrance Lock: Latchbolt operated by lever on either side (except when deadbolt is projected). Deadbolt operated by key outside and thumbturn inside. Inside lever retracts both latch and deadbolt for exiting.

Passage Lock: Latchbolt operated by lever on either side. Inside lever always retracts the mechanism for egress.

Storeroom Lock: Latchbolt operated by lever inside and by key outside; outside lever is fixed. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks the main latchbolt to prevent jimmying. Inside lever always retracts the mechanism. Commonly used with electric strikes.

Classroom Lock: Latchbolt operated by lever on either side except when outside lever is locked by key. Key operates latch and unlocks outside lever. Inside lever is always operable for egress.
