CRL Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU: CRL7672) features a diamond-pattern spindle set at 0º so installers can replace pre-1998 Kawneer® Husky® closers without changing the door arm. Using our optional Retrofit Clips for 4" or 4-1/2" (102 or 114 mm) headers, the closer mounts without replacing existing door hardware. Compatible with existing center-hung or offset arms and existing pivots.

Available in 105º hold-open and no-hold-open styles with medium spring size; also offered in an 8.5 lb. model suitable for exterior doors. A diamond-pattern end-load center-hung replacement arm is available (Cat. No. CRL8010H).

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control adjusts closing speed and latching speed independently.

Special Retaining Rings
Prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed all the way out of the closer body.

Notes
May require considerable alterations to retrofit; mounting clips are sold separately and required for installation. An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage from over-extension of door swing. Although the series complies with specified opening forces, site conditions and door size may affect spring power and closing performance.

Product Warning:
