CRL 888 Premium Grade Caulking (SKU: 888GRY) is a general-purpose butyl-based sealant formulated for economical, maintenance-free watertight seals on metal, glass, wood, plastic, and concrete. It cures to an elastic, UV-stable seal that resists hardening or cracking with age.

Typical Uses: Sealing joints up to 3/8" in metal, glass, wood, plastic, and concrete where an economical, watertight, flexible seal is required. Suitable for exterior and interior caulking of panels, siding, thresholds, and vehicle bodies. Not recommended for horizontal decks, patios, driveways, or high-abrasion surfaces, or for window glazing and hidden joints that require non-skinning sealants.

CRL 888 uses a solvent-based curing system and may emit a slight mineral spirits odor during application; avoid use where odor is objectionable (for example, refrigeration units to be stocked soon after construction).
