CRL 888 White Premium Caulk Sealant - High-Grade

CRL 888 Premium Grade Caulking (SKU: 888W) is a general-purpose butyl-based sealant formulated for economical, maintenance-free, watertight seals on metal, glass, wood, plastic, and concrete. It cures to an elastic, UV-stable seal that resists cracking with age and bonds to a variety of surfaces without staining.

Basic Uses: Designed for joints 3/8" (10 mm) or less. Easy to apply with standard caulking guns, non-stringy during application, and contains no asbestos minerals. Application temperature range: 40° to 120°F (4° to 49°C). Service temperature range: -20° to 200°F (-29° to 93°C). Recommended for exterior and interior construction caulking, under thresholds, aluminum siding seams, metal building panels, truck body joints, and similar sealing tasks. Solvent-release formula with a two-hour tack-free time, approximately 90% cured in 21 days, and paintable after 24 hours.

Limitations & Product Warning:
Not recommended for horizontal decks, patios, driveways, or terrace joints exposed to abrasion or heavy traffic. Not for window glazing or hidden-joint details that require non-skinning, non-hardening sealants. Contains a solvent-based curing system—minor mineral spirits odor is normal during application; avoid use where odor is objectionable (for example, refrigeration units to be stocked soon after construction).
