This CRL Jackson® Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU 21101GE18) is designed for A.D.A. barrier-free applications and adjustable from Size 1 (Barrier-Free) through Size 4 (Regular). The adjustable spring power lets you set opening force to meet A.D.A. requirements while providing reliable door control across a wide range of door types and sizes — a versatile, ADA-compliant concealed door closer solution for commercial and institutional installations.

A.D.A. NOTE: Although the adjustable spring power can compensate for many site conditions, adequate closing force might not be obtained while complying with A.D.A. opening force requirements.

NOTE: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage to the closer and entryway from over-extension of maximum door swing.

The "GE" Package includes CRL8010FS standard mounting clips, CRL8010S side load arm assembly, and CRL8010GE bottom pivot. Intended for new installations with 1/2" (12.7 mm) deep top rail and side-load applications, the package also retrofits existing Jackson® and similar fixed-size closer installations — ideal when you need a threshold-mounted, concealed, adjustable, ADA-compliant door closer with simple retrofit capability.
