This CRL Jackson® Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU: 21101AP20) is designed for A.D.A. barrier-free applications. The adjustable spring power ranges from Size 1 (Barrier-Free) through Size 4 (Regular), allowing installers to set the closing force to meet A.D.A. opening-force limits while still providing control for a wide variety of door types and sizes. Its concealed overhead design and floor-mounted pivot make it a versatile choice for commercial and institutional doors requiring an ADA-compliant, low-profile closer.
A.D.A. NOTE: Although the adjustable spring power can be reduced to meet A.D.A. opening-force limits, site conditions and larger door sizes may prevent adequate closing force while remaining compliant.
NOTE: Install an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of the maximum allowable door swing.
