CRL Jackson® Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU 21101S18) — adjustable from Size 1 (Barrier-Free) through Size 4 (Regular) for A.D.A. barrier-free applications. Set the spring power to meet A.D.A. opening force limits while retaining control for a wide range of door types and sizes. Ideal when you need an ADA-compliant, adjustable overhead concealed door closer for commercial and institutional entrances.
A.D.A. NOTE: While the adjustable spring power closer can be tuned for A.D.A. opening forces, adequate closing force may not be achieved on all sites and door sizes when complying with A.D.A. requirements.
NOTE: We recommend installing an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
Product Warning: Closers set to comply with A.D.A. opening forces might not provide sufficient spring power to reliably control and close the door under varying site conditions and door sizes.
