There are two advantages to buying our Door Closer Bodies with Mounting Clips (SKU: CRL7070). First, when replacing a worn-out door closer you save cost by purchasing only the closer body instead of a full assembly. Second, you can build an exact package for your job by adding the specific accessories you need (pivots, arms, etc.). Each closer body ships with mounting clips, installation templates, and instructions.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves independently adjust closing speed and latching speed for precise control.

Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from backing out of the door closer body.

Note: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
