These CRL Shallow Depth Floor Mounted Door Closers (SKU: CRL8372) are designed for installations that require a minimal 1-9/16" (40 mm) cut-out in the floor—ideal for floors above ground level where remaining floor thickness is critical. The low-profile design supports heavier doors while minimizing floor modification. Separate valves allow independent adjustment of closing and latching speeds. Available in 90° and 105° Hold-Open and No Hold-Open models.

The supplied 1/8" (3 mm) collar height spindle provides a 5/16" (8 mm) clearance from the finished floor to the door bottom; optional spindles accommodate other finished floor heights. Accessories available include cover plates, pivots, center-hung and offset arms to suit varied installation needs.

Note: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of the maximum allowable door swing.
