This CRL Mirror Mount Frame Cleat (SKU: D1637M) features a unique offset profile that holds a mirror away from direct contact with the wall and creates a pocket for a Top Channel Cap or Mirror Frame Extrusion. The offset design reduces moisture entrapment behind the mirror, conceals screws and support hardware, and provides a clean, narrow 5/16" (7.9 mm) framed mirror installation when used with a bottom FHA Type J-Bar and Top Channel Cap—ideal for installers seeking a slim, moisture-resistant mirror mounting solution.

If a fully framed system is desired, use Mirror Frame Extrusion.

Hint: When using the Top Channel Cap and FHA J-Bar system, closed ends can be created by trimming a portion of the J-Channel and bending back the front flaps to close off the ends.
