CRL Melbourne Series Hinges
feature large hinge plates that provide more clamping force. The required simple rectangular cut-out is for ease of glass fabrication. Constructed of forged solid brass, the Melbourne Series offers three versions of wall mount models, a 180 degree glass-to-glass model, and replacement cover plates for concealment of hinge plate screws. For use with 1/2", 3/8", and 5/16" (12, 10 and 8 mm) thick tempered glass. Stocked in three popular finishes, with custom finishes available.
Using two hinges
with 1/2", 3/8", and 5/16" glass (12, 10, and 8 mm) the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 30" (762 mm).
Using three hinges
with 1/2", 3/8", and 5/16" glass (12, 10, and 8 mm) the hinge will hold up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 34" (864 mm).
