CRL Melbourne Series Hinges (SKU: MEL044CH) are forged solid brass shower door hinges engineered for heavy-duty residential and hotel glass shower enclosures. Key differentiators include oversized hinge plates for extra clamping force, a simple rectangular cut-out that speeds glass fabrication, and optional replacement cover plates to conceal hinge plate screws. Available as multiple wall-mount models and a 180° glass-to-glass model, these Melbourne Series hinges support tempered glass shower doors and specialty frameless glass installations.

Load Capacity
Using two hinges with 1/2", 3/8", or 5/16" glass (12, 10, 8 mm): holds up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with maximum door width 30" (762 mm).

Using three hinges with 1/2", 3/8", or 5/16" glass (12, 10, 8 mm): holds up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with maximum door width 34" (864 mm).
