CRL Melbourne Series Hinges (SKU: MEL044MBL) feature large hinge plates for superior clamping force and a simple rectangular cut-out to simplify glass fabrication. Constructed of forged solid brass, the Melbourne Series includes multiple wall-mount models, a 180° glass-to-glass model, and replacement cover plates to conceal hinge plate screws. These solid brass shower door hinges are optimized for tempered glass shower doors and frameless shower enclosures.
Load Capacity & Door Width
Using two hinges with 1/2", 3/8", or 5/16" glass (12, 10, 8 mm): holds up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 30" (762 mm).
Using three hinges with 1/2", 3/8", or 5/16" glass (12, 10, 8 mm): holds up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 34" (864 mm).
