CRL 6" x 10" Center Locks with Deadlatch deliver versatile security for glass door installations. These center locks are engineered for 1/2" (12 mm) heavy tempered glass and come in five finishes. A simple cut-out in the glass is all that’s required for installation—no messy cement or silicone. Center locks are available left- and right-handed and are an ideal choice when you need a durable center lock for 1/2 inch tempered glass doors with deadlatch protection.
Office Lock Function: Latchbolt is operated by lever on either side (except when outside lever is locked by rocker in faceplate) or by key outside. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks the main latchbolt to resist jimmying. Turning the inside lever always retracts the mechanism to allow exiting.
Entrance Lock: Latchbolt operates by lever on either side (except when deadbolt is projected). Deadbolt is operated by key outside and thumbturn inside. Turning the inside lever retracts both latchbolt and deadbolt to allow exiting.
Passage Lock: Latchbolt operates by lever on either side. Turning the inside lever always retracts the mechanism to allow exiting.
Storeroom Lock: Latchbolt is operated by lever inside and by key outside; the outside lever is fixed. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks the main latchbolt to resist jimmying. Turning the inside lever always retracts the mechanism to allow exiting. Commonly used with electric strikes.
Classroom Lock: Latchbolt operates by lever on either side except when the outside lever is locked by key outside. Key operates the latch and unlocks the outside lever; the inside lever is always operable.
