Office Lock Function: Latchbolt operates by lever on either side (outside lever can be locked by rocker in faceplate) or by key outside. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks the main latchbolt to prevent jimmying. Inside lever always retracts for egress.

Entrance Lock: Latchbolt operates by lever on either side (except when deadbolt is projected). Deadbolt operated by key outside and thumbturn inside. Inside lever retracts both latch and deadbolt for egress.

Passage Lock: Latchbolt operates by lever on either side. Inside lever always retracts for egress.

Storeroom Lock: Latchbolt operated by inside lever and by key outside; outside lever is fixed. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks main latchbolt to prevent jimmying. Inside lever always retracts for egress. Commonly used with electric strikes.

Classroom Lock: Latchbolt operates by lever on either side except when outside lever is locked by key. Key operates latch and unlocks outside lever; inside lever always operable.
