The zipper-tooth backing enables quick, tool-free installation from above the extrusion slot—no need to slide pile in from the ends—making retrofit and manufacturing installs faster and easier. Designed for aluminum, vinyl, fiberglass, or wood T-slots, this zipper pile fits slightly off-size slots and installs without disassembling the window or door sash. The double center fin provides a superior weather seal for reduced drafts, vibration dampening, and improved pest control compared to single-fin or finless piles.
