Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TMBL12PL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The wedge-action design applies downward pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar, generating exceptional holding force in the rail (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" Corner Rail). This robust method secures monolithic tempered glass for storefronts, commercial entrances, and high-traffic glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installation and long-term stability. Rails arrive fully fabricated with end caps installed and an adjustable door alignment slide pre-assembled—allowing experienced installers to prepare a door in under ten minutes. The Adjustable Door Alignment System provides up to 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment on both top and bottom rails without removing the door, and the low-profile slide accommodates non-standard pivot setbacks for vertically out-of-square openings.

Adjustments are accessed by removing the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer bolts adjust 1/8" in or out. Internal components remain in place during installation, and glass securing pads are designed for durability in extreme environments.
