Rixson® Overhead Stops are expertly designed to protect doors and entryways from damage caused by violent openings due to wind gusts, heavy traffic, abuse, and vandalism.
Ideal for moderate traffic and medium-weight doors, these stops are suitable for both exterior and interior applications.
Featuring a concealed slide track, they provide 5º to 7º compression with a heavy shock-absorbing spring before reaching a maximum opening of 110º.
With ANSI 156.8 Grade 1 certification, these non-handed stops include fasteners for wood or metal door frames and are perfect for doors with offset pivots, center-hung pivots, or aluminum door webbing installations.
Regular maintenance is recommended to preserve the stainless steel finish.
